Every summer, the iconic Terracotta Light, ranked as the no. 1 bronzing powder for a natural healthy glow in Europe¹, has been reinvented in a limited edition. This year, Guerlain has revisited both the powder’s compaction and the design of the iconic case launched in 1984, drawing on its original inspiration: capturing the range of shades of the Moroccan desert dunes, swept by the rays of the summer sun.
This mythical landscape is embodied in a gradation of bronzing and blushing shades, a delicate pink and an apricot coral, revealing a unique harmony for an instant natural healthy glow effect.
Elaborated in collaboration with the Aït Manos workshops, this exclusive case evokes the radiant sun of a summer morning. Keeping ancestral know-how alive, this Moroccan manufacturer is dedicated to modernising a traditional craftsmanship technique: zellige, an ornamental mosaic composed of coloured earthenware.

Guerlain is paying tribute to its heritage by collaborating with the Aït Manos workshops, a Moroccan manufacturer renowned for their excellence in crafting zelliges, colourful terracotta mosaics.
Their refined creations are now the inspiration for the exclusive design decorating Terracotta Summer Glow’s case.
A graphic sun shines its rays in a mosaic, beautifully enhanced with lines of gold. Combining a radiant ochre colour with a marbled effect, it adopts the tones of amber, a semi-precious stone with golden glints.
This new case completes the Terracotta Golden Dunes collection.

A 96% NATURALLY-DERIVED INGREDIENTS¹ FORMULA
At the heart of the case, Terracotta Light’s iconic formula remains unchanged. Infused with Moroccan flower honey, which helps to maintain skin’s hydration, the formula guarantees optimal all-day comfort. Silky and ultra-light, the texture naturally fuses with skin, with an imperceptible feel, for an incredibly natural healthy glow.
¹Based on ISO 16128 standard, the remaining 4% contribute to the formula’s integrity and sensory qualities.
A CASE DESIGNED TO LAST
In harmony with the Maison’s eco-friendly approach, this limited-edition case is designed to be refillable¹, seamlessly extending your sun-kissed complexion’s radiant glow.
Once your powder is finished, place the refill tool in the slot under the case and lift the used powder until it comes out of the case. Then, insert your new refill and close your case.
¹For optimal use, refill your Terracotta powder up to two times. This case is compatible with Terracotta Light and Terracotta refills.
TAILOR-MADE APPLICATION FOR A SUN-KISSED AND SUN-BLUSHED COMPLEXION AS DESIRED
Two types of application are recommended:
Blending the shades: sweep the Kabuki brush all over the surface of the powder and apply it to the forehead, temples, cheekbones and bridge of the nose to warm up the whole complexion.
Taking up precise shades: first, the bronzing shades to structure the face contours, then the pink or coral blushing tones to enhance the cheekbones.
More versatile than ever, the Terracotta powder can now be applied to eyelids, taking up your chosen powder shades with a fine brush.
